Gintzler International, a provider of custom label and product identification and packaging solutions, has presented Paul Maurer, chairman of Re-Tree WNY, with a check for $1,000 on Friday, April 29, 2016.

The monetary donation to Re-Tree will be used for the planting of 10 trees in the city of Buffalo and surrounding suburbs, one representing each decade Gintzler has been in business. Gintzler employees will participate in the tree plantings later this fall, in collaboration with Re-Tree WNY representatives.

Gintzler International is commemorating over 100 years of packaging excellence this year and is participating in a series of community service events across their two locations in Buffalo, NY and Liberty Hill, TX to celebrate.

Coinciding with Arbor Day, a tree was planted at Gintzler’s NY facility to symbolize the future growth of their company. In addition, all associates received a small plant in a commemorative coffee mug to take home in appreciation of their service.

“We realize we have successfully grown as a company for over a century due to the ongoing support we have received from our incredible staff, customers, vendors, and communities we serve,” says Mary Scheible, CAO of Gintzler International. “As an organization that embraces the notion of sustainable initiatives and is committed to environmental consciousness efforts, we are honored to help reforest our beautiful community.”
